I don't think children who spend excessive time watching violance on t.v. learn aggressive behavior viewing violance on t.v. parents can take measurements to prevent violance but it is not caused by t.v.
I have 2 kids and they have no problems they play video games and watch t.v. all the time. They are both A students and have never been in trouble. They are in 3rd and 4th grades and their teachers love them and have them teach others how to do their work. Say it will only last, or say I don't know what I'm talking about, but my parents let me watch anything (but sex) and I had no problems we didn't go to church either. It's the way parents teach their kids and if there is any dicapline. Parents need to stop blaming everything and everybody else for what they are NOT doing.

Parents are a much bigger influence on children than a tv. Children learn about violence from the moment they are born and the doctor slaps their butt to get them breathing. Violence is not always a bad thing. It is however a important part of human nature. Sorry, that was more than one sentence.
