Bravery. I don't think it takes bravery to stand up to any of these.

My friend and I share a bond. It takes heart to stand up to him and risk our freindship. But the "true" friend will still be there if we disagree.

My family and I share blood. It takes love to stand up for my own place in amongst the brood. Right or wrong, I'll still be a part of the family if we fight.

My foe and I share no common ground. At odds with one another, it takes courage and some fear to challenge him. I know that I have much to lose if I do not win, and may gain a deeper, more committed, foe if I do win. I should endeavor to make my foe my friend where we can disagree on common ground.

Bravery is just that bravery or having the ability to show fearlessness, courage, and valor. The only difference is that with family and friends you also have to have the ability to have a bit of tact to go along with the afore mentioned traits. Have a Great Day!

Your foe...

It is easy to defend friends and family. You know them and it makes your decision to stand up for them all that much easier.

It takes fortitude indeed to stand up for your foe. It comes down to a decision between right and wrong, and your character shines when you can look past your ire and disdain for your foe, and stand up for them because it is the right thing to do.

Bravery may not have a thing to do with it, but CHARACTER sure does. I admire someone who can look past their differences and do what is RIGHT...

friend, because your family should always stay with you and a foe, who gives a rats ****, but with a friend, the possibility of them walking away from you forever is much stronger.
