it is very simple, are the devices SATA or IDE? they both need 2 plugs, one for power and the other for DATA. Make srue you have pluged the 1 IDE cable into both the hard drive and the CD, then into the motherboard. now there are some 4 pin molex connectors, they give the Hard drive and CD power, so connect thoes.

if this does not work take a picture and host it on a site like imageshack

then send the link to me

1. Connect all power cables.

2. Disconnect the CD Rom drive RIBBON cable at the CD Rom end and re-boot.

3. If PC still won't boot, the CD Rom and hard drive RIBBON cables are reversed. Correct and re-boot.

4. Still stuck? Take your PC to a repair shop.

TIP: Next time, label the cables.

There could be lots of problems. You might have accidently loosened or unplugged something else. You might have switched the cd rom and hard drive but I do not think that would affect it though.
