Yes, monitors will work on basically any pc, as long as the interface is the same. You'd actually be surprised how many people think that these things have to be the same brand, like when they're buying a tv and a dvd player.

Yes I interchange different monitors(Compaq,Gateway, HP etc..) with different computers all the time. Currently viewing through a HP monitor on a Gateway PC.You may see "found new hardware" pop up from windows on start up. BIOS has the basic drivers(for video) already installed in your PC.

Most monitors are compatible with most video output devices so there should be no problem.

yes. as long as the computer has a compatible video port (probably a blue VGA) it wirk just fine.
