get x- rays and to be on the safe side get a blood test...for blood cancer...some start with pain in the leg like in the joints....it might just be broken but just be on the safe side and get a blood test too if nothing shows on the x ray.

If wearing kneepads is unmasculine, I guess you're just going to have to take your pain like a man.

You didn't specify how you hurt your knee... what you were doing exactly. Did you fall? Did you twist? Did you hit it? Did you over exert?

Go see a doctor.

Pain for three months is a sign that something's not right. It could be a ligament, could be a fracture or other bone injury... possible a dislocation of the patella. Maybe some cartilage damage. Your cartilage could be damaged and start to die off... leaving you permanently disabled.

You made the decision to play without knee pads. Now you've gotta suck it up and see the doctor.

You didn't say how old you are but it sounds like you may have injured the growth plates that top the tibia and fibula in your leg. Three months is too long to see if it will just go away on its own. Go see the doctor and get some x-rays before it becomes a permanent injury

This sounds like the cartilage is kaput.

Take yourself to a practitioner as they will need to do a scan to see what is happening.
