No you can not download it from another computer. Depending on your make and model of the machine will tell you if it is expensive or not. I would go to www.buymemory.com for your upgrade.

Memory is cheap. The human race cannot yet disintegrate matter, download it, and re-integrate it, so you'll have real trouble downloading it from another computer. Probably best to buy it from a shop and transport it in your pocket.

Ram is not that expensive as some people here say & No ,you cant not "download" memory from one pc to another.
You have to buy it from best buy, circuit city, etc.
but you need to know what type of memory your pc uses.

Memory ? u mean storage space of RAM ? RAM can be quite expensive depending on the capacity. Harddisks can be taken from other computers if your computer has an extra slot.

Go to http://www.newegg.com and search for RAM. You need to know what kind your computer takes. Also go to the webstite of your computer and find a link that tells you specs on your PC.
New Egg is a good website.

No, And it's hardware, you can't download it.
Search for RAM for your PC ,by make and model, at:
http://www.crucial.com
Then, buy from them (Install yourself) or go to your local computer store (they can install).
