I am having a breast reduction in just under two weeks time, i am 26 and am going from a 34 HH to a c/d cup. I need to get a sports bra but i have not been told what size, does anyone know when the surgeon tells you what you size you will need (ie after the operation for when you go home).
Thanks

I went from a JJ to a big C. I bought a D because you swell for the first couple of weeks. Then once the swelling goes down you see if you need a smaller one. good luck to you. I have been pretty happy with mine. Just make sure you take care of the cuts, I lacked in that now I have bad scars.

Get one in your current band size, then buy one or two a size larger to accommodate for swelling.

My pre-op size was 38J, so I bought a band size in 38 and two in 40. I ended up using the 40 band size bras more than the 38s.

Get some front closure bras to make it easier on you.

Nik, have you tried Mederma or Scarguard for your scars? Even now I think Scarguard has something out to help you.

I used those two products after my incisions were closed and now they are barely noticeable.
