I predict that IF the Republicans NEED to remain in office to complete their "objectives", the administration will stage another 'terrorist' attack. This time, it will happen in the mIdwest, probably Chicago or St. Louis.
Cheney and the wealthy elitists behind-the-scenes who control our government will order Bush to declare martial law, claiming that a change in administration is not in the best interests of the country.
Bush will remain a defacto President until such a time that the wars in Iraq and Iran (yes, that 'war' is coming soon to a network news bureau near you!) are shored up and the U.S.A. has total control over all the OIL underneath the sands of those two nations.
If this can be readily achieved before the '08 elections, the Republicans will make a very timid effort toward winning, knowing that the worst economic depression in U.S. history will hit shortly after Bush leaves office.
Halliburton isn't building fourteen (yes - 14!) permanent U.S. military bases in Iraq just for the helluvit. The U.S. will maintain a military presence in Iraq until we've sucked every drop of OIL out of that country.
We are NOT there to bring democracy to Iraq (Bush and Cheney could care less). We are not there to establish peace in the Middle East. We are there for OIL and WAR PROFITEERING. Pure and simple. -RKO- 07/08/07

Never+2years. Can't happen will not happen. He would need the total support of the military, and he does not have it. It could happen, but it would take a tree, not a bush.
