There is no folder for print screen in any version of windows.
Print Screen is a windows command that copies something to the clipboard which is like a virtual drive, once you paste it into something you can see it.
It works the same way as copy and cut, once you log off your login, the information that is being held on your clipboard is gone from memory and you can't get it back unless you have pasted it into another program like word, excel, outlook, paint or any other program that you choose. It pastes into all of them because it's a windows command not a program specific command.

There is simply no folder for print screen. It is basically copying what you see on the screen so all you do is go to paint and paste then the screen you captured should be there!
As simple as that

I think it doesn't go into a folder, it just stays in the memory like you just copied something. Go into a paint program after you do the print screen, and then choose paste. It should show up then.

There isnt a folder, until you paste in into a document and save it there. Print screen is the same as cut or copy.

It's in the "Clipboard"
If you don't already have a favorite screen-capture program (like MWSnap), use the one inside Windows:
Press CTRL + Print Screen to capture the desktop or ALT + Print Screen to capture the current window to the Clipboard, then, open Paint or WordPad, select Edit > Paste, then save the file, to the Desktop, with a descriptive title.

It doesn't put it a folder that's why.
All it is doing is copying the image.
What you have to do is open an application like Windows Paint and then Paste the image into there.

I think there are no folders for that. once you pressed print screen, they will be temporarily saved in a clip board, just like when you press ctrl + c or execute copy command... they will be stored actually in the RAM so you cant access it. hope this answers your question.
