I dont see quebec ever being separated from Canada.
What would they do for currency, how would they cover their portion of the national debt, most of their trade is internal with other Canadian provinces, and what would they do for a military.
In other words, they would have no economy and would suffer greatly if they chose to leave Canada.
One nation, Quebec is part of Canada

Not very likely. The last referendum was over 10 years ago, and went no where fast. And there was a lot of debate on what the actual referendum questions mean, and what would be included in a divorce. Since then, the last 2 elections the Separatist party has failed to form a government. The election this year they fell to 3rd place. So given that they would have to win another election then win a referendum, I'd say a 2 percent chance in the next 10 years, and a 10% chance in the next 30 years.
The separate flag item in yahoo, is because there is a French Canadian Yahoo, and if you click on that you will get all the French Language content. The fact that they wish to not go and click a France Flag and might have better connections to a North American environment is a positive sign to me. You will note that you can also hit an American Flag in Spanish.
The Quebec item under Canada baffles me. It is a list of cities that also includes the Quebec city of Montreal. The list is mostly the largest cities, with a couple of touristy ones thrown in, and weeding out so there isn't too many cities from one province/area. Quebec City is in line to be on the list. I often think that this category was suppose to be Quebec City, and someone left the City part off. I could be wrong.

There is a possibility. After all, a fair amount of people are still interested in separation. But, it's definitely not going to happen any time soon and is getting less and less likely to ever happen. Oh well.
Even if they are not a separate country, Quebec (at least French speaking Quebecois) still see themselves as separate nation. In the hearts of many Quebecois, even those who do not wish to separate, Quebec will always come first. We are Quebecois first and Canadians second.

The probability is low. The separatist party has wanted this for decades. There would be a lot of politics involved. They would want us to support them and they don't want to be responsible for the whole country's debt. Their economy would suffer, they would have to deal with the native land issues on there own with no federal government to help them...they could not do it.
