I took my family to a park where instead of sand, the play yard had a soft, rubber ground plane. Anyone know what that is?

It's a form of rubber mulch. There are several brands out there; I'm including a link to one.

Usually, It is made of recycled rubber. Mostly Tires.
There was this new playground in my neighborhood...and it was made of rubber....at first it smelled HORIBBLE!!! But then as the months went by... i didn't smell anything.
I think the same stuff at the Mcdonald's playground .

It's ground up and recycled tires.... At least that's what it is in our area....However, we have Goodyear right down the way...
