I have both systems and if I were buying either of the two systems now after playing and owning them both for quite some time I would only buy the PS3.

The Xbox 360 is a great system but it has a lot more problems than the PS3 (mechanically) and is inferior in every technical category.

The PS3 is the cliche "bigger, faster, stronger" system. Everything on PS3 loads faster and looks better. An excellent example of this is in games like Oblivion and Ninja Gaiden Sigma (which is basically a remake of Ninja Gaiden Black for 360). Plus there are a lot more possibilities with the PS3. I could go on for a long time about how many ways the PS3 dominates the 360 but you get the idea.

If you can't put up the money then the 360 is a perfectly good system if thats all you can afford. However, if price doesn't matter in your decision you should purchase the PS3. It's just better, theres no other way to put it. Think of the 360 as a new Volvo and the PS3 as a new BMW. Thats a pretty good analogy, both are nice but the BMW is "just better".

Take care and good luck.

ps3 ha more features and connectity. like built in wifi and HDMI. It has sloy=ts more media like memory stick duo. It has a bigger HDD and a blu ray player. Free online and it looks alot better. It also has an internet browser which i am using now with a USB keyboard and mouse! The 360 breaks all the time and the build quality is not as good. The ps3 is better value for money. By the end of this year there will be no reason to get a 360 because they will have plenty of games and the online will be better. It's fine now, i can't see ANY problems with it.

Just to clear up what Nia D/X said above. The PS3 controllers are not connected by wires. They are wirelsee also and you can play from up to 60 feet away with them. Also, you do not have to buy batteries for them. They can be plugged into your PS3 or PC using a standard USB cable to recharge them. The PS3 is far superior in every aspect except for game selection, but there is approximately 340 games due to be released by March 2008. Thats about 20 games a month with about 15 of the 340 being PS3 exclusives.

Unless you have the money, the Playstation 3, $600, is more expensive then the Xbox 360, $350. Go for the 360. :)

well Xbox360 has a wireless controller powered by batteries which avoids the problem of messy wires and back stretching. The games are gd and its fairly cheap.

The PS3 is very sleek , but expensive as its fairly new to the market and its controller is connected to wires but its shape is comfortable (depends on your taste). I would go for xbox360, its easy on the wallet, fun, no need to stretch your body-you can play from anywhere.
gd luck

Right now.....the xbox 360 is way cheeper and has way more games.

On a longer timescale...the PS3 will give you way more for your money. Stronger hardware, free online service, blueray and all that jass, etc.
