any one else think its dumb to buy an iphone??

I think its a pretty gay phone from what ive heard. It doesnt have very good features, and the fact that too many other people have it is even more unattractive... i mean really, who wants the same phone everyone else has, and pay upto 700 dollars...based on it's features and contract it sounds basically like an overrated rip off. so to every one who bought one, haha, suckers.

actually homes i have a tmobile dash, its an extremely good phone, the only cons is that once in a great while it will freeze up for a few seconds and the volume strip is annoying sometimes, but other than that it has all the features you even need and more.....iphone buyers are victims, because half the buyers probably don't know anything about pdas/smart phones, so they think its cool, but people who know tech will agree easily with me.

I agree completely! Unless you have money to burn why on earth would you buy an Iphone if you already have a computer that does everything it will do cheaper? Sure it is handy to have it with you but most of us my age lived through a time when you never saw your mail until you got home and checked the mailbox. Now almost everyone at work has a computer and you can check your email from there if you wish. I suppose for some it seems indispensible but I can't see the reward equaling the expense myself. I already have a digital camera, a computer, and a cell phone so someone needs to convince me my money would be wisely spent on this new toy.

I wouldn't buy one now as the cost is incredible and there and bound to be bugs in it but I would buy one later on.
