These performers were entertainers, I enjoyed watching their athletic abilities and story lines. It makes me very sad that they have had their lives taken away from us. I personally hope that some kind of legislation or something surfaces to help protect these performers from the pitfalls of their profession. Not the least of which is using steroids.

Vince McMahon is a very intelligent man. After the first steroid scandal, he stopped calling the then WWF a sport, and coined the phrase "Sports Entertainment". That means that the state athletic commission no longer has to oversee the events as they aren't sporting events.

Well, wrestling isn't exactly a sport. Even Vince has come out and said it is entertainment to get around the state athletic commissions and any doping legislation they might enact. So, until they change the law, the only steroid testing we will see is that enacted by Vince.

I dont believe wrestling is a sport, is like a school play for big kids. Subjecting them to the doping statutes would be like urine testing all musicians.
