Being a 16 time world champion, I would have to say that Ric Flair isn't overrated. But, still being in the ring after 25-30 years doesn't help. He needs to step out. Become a manager like he was with Evolution. He taught Triple H a few things. With Flairs help, Hunter beat Booker T silly at WrestleMania 19. All Flair did was hit Booker frim behind in the knee. It was downhill from there. So Slick Ric would be a great manager with all his knowledge and experience.

Not a chance!! It's RIC F'N FLAIR. He is possibly the greatest of all time. Back in the day, he could wrestle circles around anyone. Yes, he's old, but for his age, he still has more talent than a lot of guys on the roster (See Nitro, Khali, Batista, Masters) Those of you too young to appreciate, find some footage of Flair from the 80's and early 90's.

The poster for this question is obviously completely oblivious to Ric Flair's entire career, and probably a kid. Dude, go do some research, learn about the Nature Boy's entire career, and you would learn that you were really stupid to ask a question like this. Why not just ask if Wayne Gretzky was overrated while you are at it...yeeesh.

No. Ric Flair is just part of the game to make people react and draw interest in the WWE. Being in the thick of intrigues and controversies keep Ric Flair's wrestling career afloat. Detractors to him actually just prolonging his stay in this side of ENTERTAINMENT.

Just the fact that he is this old and still able to demand the paycheck he gets should tell you wether or not he is overrated. Picture yourself doing something for 30+ years and being one of, if not the best at and having a bunch of kids who haven't even began to have a life tell you that you are too old to do what you are good at.

Maybe not overrated. He was great in his time. But they don't know what to do with him. Since the beginning they didnt know what to do with him when he came back. The bad story lines..the crappy line ups..they didn't give him a chance..It would be better for him to move on to manager, commentator, something else to redeem his name and not just be that old saggy overrated guy

people love him, respect him, and doesn't seem him as a jobber even though he only knows how to chop.
thats why wwe has no choice but to give him a push. even thoug he gets burried and loses to many new talents, people still love him. it proves how he always need a push or at least not fall into a jobber.
just his whole fan base and his legacy makes him be placed where he is in the busines even though of his lack of wrestling ability and his old age.

Flair is like eighty years old, and his fat/muscles our all flabby, and he can't even run around the ring before coming tired!
