How can i Connect the Zebra LP 2844 to a laptop. The laptop just has a usb port & when i tried connecting to it, it does not respond. I want it to communicate with the bar-code printer. Also, if you can suggest with the VB 6.0 code to solve this issue.

Put a CD first(if you have one came with a printer), then install appropriate driver. Then connect it to laptop.
In case, you don't have a CD. Connect a USB cable to laptop, then to printer. If laptop does not find printer, go to Control Panel, Printers, Add a new printer.
Use Windows update website, or links below.

Install the software and drivers FIRST.
Read the installation instructions, in The Friendly Manual (RTFM), for your printer. Still Stuck? Call the manufacturer for tech support.
"VB 6.0 code" is not required. Windows and the device driver should handle basic I/O.

ive had problems with a zebra card printer i couldnt find any drivers i then rang them up and they sent me the free links and talked me throgh it there good like that
