Yes if she can't cut it in open-wheelers she should move down a grade or two. She may as well go to Nascar, you're supposed to run into your opponents there and she seems to do that naturally.

Danica is a pretty girl with connections. Her driving ability is mediocre at best. She causes accidents, she is selfish, she is not a team player and she refuses to take responsibility for her success, or lack there of.
I hope she does NOT move to NASCAR. I think that would ruin the sport.
I am all for women being competitive in "male" sports. It would be incredible if a woman could win a major race (le mans, F1, champ car indy NASCAR etc) but with Danica being our "Goleden Child" I doubt that will happen any time soon.

That's not an option (as mentioned earlier) so now the question becomes, "Should Danica Patrick attempt to go to NASCAR? Well I certainly hope she doesn't. Your dad may like her but she is a middle of the pack driver in her own series where she is supposed to be so good. With twice as many cars that are much harder to control, NASCAR would not be a good fit for her. She has enough trouble avoiding wrecks as it is and does not seem very cool under pressure. NASCAR doesn't need another field filler as there are about 53 or more full time teams attempting to secure their spot in a 43 car field every week. She seems upset a lot of the time as it is but she would really be miserable in NASCAR.

Like many others have said, "first" is done so no.
Now, should she try NASCAR? Its impossible for any of us to say. Some people's driving style fits different types of cars better and some don't. Look for instance at even the Busch Cars vs. the Cup Cars. Jeff Green had one of the most dominating Busch Series year ever winning the championship, but he's never really been that good in a Cup Car. Only testing with a cup team would determine if she can do it.
Marketability wise, she's golden. That's no concern...

Shawna Robertson has already drove in NASCAR events, so Danica cannot be the first woman.
Her best finish in a NASCAR event was 24th at the Daytona 500 in 2002.

No, as already stated there have been other women drivers in NASCAR....Will she make the move to NASCAR, only if she can find a sponsor and owner willing to put up with her mediocre performance.

Don't think she will be going to NASCAR. There are concerns that she may not be strong enough to handle the heavier NASCAR for the entire race/36 races. She needs to win in Indycar before she even thinks of going to NASCAR.

She's too late to be the first, but I think it's her dream to win in Indy Car.
