I have a neighbor who tried the same thing with a Chevy Blazer and it's still sitting in his back yard after a year. I'm sure there is a way but it would probably involve changing the ignition and who knows what else to go back to a carb because it is simpler and it would be more expensive than it's worth.
The best thing to do is get a repair manual on your truck or some books on fuel injection and learn it. It's not as difficult as you think it's just different and it's more efficient than a carburetor. You are like me,"Old School" or just old like me and we grew up LEARNING carbs and it's hard for old dogs to learn new tricks but we can. Good Luck

Possibly.

The problem is that most fuel-injected engines are controlled by a computer, it controls how much fuel is injected, the ignition timing, and on some, even when the automatic transmission shifts gears.

Apart from the obvious, the intake manifold, you would have to change the fuel pump, disable the computer, and probably have to change the entire ignition system, and modify the transmission.

If you managed to do all that, and get it to run, your gas mileage would go down, and it would fail the smog test.

Simple yes take 6 ounces of fuel inside an alumunum air fuel mixer heat up on top of a gasoline motor and turn the truck off. Now the Ethanol up to 15% heats starts to boil. Not you have fuel vapor lock you have to wait until the truck engine cools off to start it back up. Intake manifold has to be changed edelbrock manifold and carb good place to start. V-8 chevy small block parts will be available. headers exhaust and eliminate the cat converters... Now you have an illegal truck that could not pass emissions test. good luck

Well - it depends if this is going to be a perfect job or just a quick swap ... If just a swap, change the intake, put on a carb and hook up the throttle cable. Chop out most of the electronic stuff - your check engine light will be on, but thats easily taken care of ;-)

Don't need to change the heads, but you'll need a fuel pressure regulator. Don't know if you'll need to change the ignition to an old Duraspark system. Or if you have smog check in your state, because it will not pass.

it's all mechanical. anything mechanical can be converted from one form to another. all you need to do is visit a qualified mechanic and tell him what you want done and he will do it for you. it's just the mode of fuel delivery that you want changed. the engine is still the same.
