Why did you ask this question?
Don't you realize you can affect what other people do when you use a word such as 'prune'?
I know I have some cans of prunes, and you mentioning, prunes has inspired me to have prunes and custard with my next meal.
If you want to come over and try some, you are welcome if you can satisfy the conditions I set out in your question asking if I would let you in.
Otherwise you will have to buy your own.

Yes, i have eaten prunes, and I like the taste of them. If you eat them, don't eat too many at one time because they are a natural laxative.

The 50's here in the USA were a lot different than they are now,also. I was born in 1941 and lived in a very small town. We didn't have to lock the doors had fun making our own entertainment. Made our boxing and wrestling ring in the yard,camped out at night. Burned leaves by the side of the street. Drank water from the garden hose. Yes the good old days!

Funny you ask, my son was eating them yesterday (while I cringed) and I actually dreamt last nite that I was eating prunes....weird dream, I guess it stuck in my subconscious....(sorry I don't have something witty for that, I just though it funny you asked!)
