Go to your local hardware store or call a propane company that refills propane. Also, can your local utilities department and ask who takes care of the housing divisions. They may send someone out and usually no cost as a customer.

I have seen them at Home Centers, hardware stores and the propane company where I get my tanks refilled.

assuming it is unprotected from the elements, the tape wont stay on the tank for long. if it is for you bbq the best thing to do is buy a spare tank so if you run out you can keep on cooking. if it is the tank for your home good luck !
