20-20 is the game for youth. Only hard hitters needed for the team. It's right decision from the side of Senior players.

I am divided in opinion on this.

They should not be removed from 20-20 since they are the most experienced players in Indian Cricket Tem right now. They all are legends of Indian Cricket.

Also, I think, others should be given chance to play for the team. New players from all over India should get equal opportunities to play for India. Hopefully, the Selection Board chooses some of the hard-hitting players for 20-20.

yes
becasue india will get knocked out in the 1st round, therefore its sensible for dravid, sachin and sourav to miss out the 20/20 incase they lose there place in the team.

but they made a very good excuse saying that they want to give the young players a chance.

Yes it is a good decision taken...A player like Dravid will not be able to gear up the run rate as needed in 20/20 cup....... So it is a wise decison at last!!

NO it was not a good decision because they are the one who are playing really good in recent matches they are well in form but I think they just want to show that without them India can not win the matches, without ganguly and dravid indian captions can't do anything, thats what they are trying to prove.
Hopefully nothing like that happens and India does good in that WRLDcup and maybe we will get some young players who are as goood as them. But overalll all these probability have very little chances so it was not a very good decision..

20-20 matches come with a new format obviously a good range of shots, quick singles, alot of stamina, good strike bowling and most of all fielding. dravid tendulkar and ganguly are good players but they are at the age where they maynot be able to suite 20-20 conditions but the young players will and its upto the young players to show that india can be competitive in the world for 20-20 matches. i think it could be a fairly good decesion and yes they do have expirience but is it going to help in 20-20s.

Possibly it was not their own decision. They were forced by BCCI to take such decision. It is another suicidal decision by Board headed by Mr. Power. For the best interest of our team at least Sachin & sourav should have been included in the squad.

Yes, They have taken the correct decision. You need to be very agile in 20 20 cricket and also there is risk for the injuries. These great cricketers should be fit to play real cricket.

yes it was reasonable cause the 20-20 game is for young blood here u have to be an allrounder in every aspect that is batting bowling and fielding and i dont think the senior players are good fielders who can throw themselves around so youngsters should be given a chance in this format

good that dravid and sachin are not playing - but ganguly? no way! he is one of the best strikers in the world. 20-20 cricket would suit his caliber of batting very very well.
