Not only did they use up a ton of electric but most of those hypocrites flew to the concerts on their private jets then got into their gas guzzling limos to go perform to save the earth. Your right, it's a joke.

Our world is moved on energy consumption. Like it or not its how things get done. It is part of the infrastructure. Maybe in a thousand yrs as we move forward the day will come when society will be progressed into a new form of mobility and energy resources. I think the green people have their hearts in the right place but at this point in time its a pipe dream. When I hear people say they reduce their footprint by buying carbon credits Its like big Al speaking about his big houses and the energy they consume. Its ok that I pollute as long as I invest in carbon credits. All a bunch of hogwash.

Obviously the concerts will use electricity, but everything possible was done to reduce the amount required, and alot or renewable energy resources were used. Artists taking part also had to sacrifice their usual luxuries. I believe the electiricity used was a necessary sacrifice to raise awareness about climate change.
