We pair them in our understanding of geometry. We made the definitons of angles and like to compare them to either a right angle or a straight line to measure them. We decided that they must be in groups of 2 which add up to either 90 or 180 degrees. This makes calculations easier.

one angle is composed of two lines
the opening is what we call angle
these two lines is not named ' pair '
