Look up "iodination of propanone" (or acetone). There will be hundreds of references to this. It turns out to be first order in [H+] and first order in (CH3COCH3], and 0th order in I2. It is a classic examination question. The orders tell you that the rate determining step is protonation of the propanone, followed by rapid iodination.
