You should try to clear out your history repeatedly while you're online. Do you have any anti-virus software? It's possible you picked up a worm from somewhere. I had my bank account ravaged because I was surfing without an anti-virus. Of course, I did this unknowingly, I will not get online without an anti-virus. Also, have you ever run a scandisk, or a disk defragmenter? Sometimes that will get in your normal program's way if alot of the info on your hard drive isn't where it belongs.

Run Spybot Search and Destroy and Ad Aware, both are free and available from download.com.

Always update the definitions before you run them to be sure you get the best protection.

Update and run your Virus program as well.
