ryan braun, my favorite player, is hitting .338 this year with 11 homeruns, 35 runs, 54 hits, 13 doubles, 2 triples, 32 rbi, 8 stolen bases, and a .650 slg% in only 39 games!

if he played a full 162 game season his stats would be: .338 avg, 46 HR, 145 runs, 224 hits, 54 doubles, 8 triples, 133 rbi, 33 SB, .650 slg%

those are crazy #s and would be in the top 5 in mlb in average, home runs, 1st in runs, top 2 in hits, doubles, triples, rbi, stolen bases, top 2 in slg% ... that is every category for offensive hitters!!!

if he put up these #s for a full season, it could be the best season for any mlb player in the history of baseball

ryan braun = mvp

Sometimes it's hard to calculate how the "choosers" choose. However, Hunter Pence, (Astros) if he continues at his current rate - should be a shoo in.

Ryan Braun is deserving too, but Pence is remarkable.

I'd take Pence right now, but don't forget about Troy Tulowitzki with the Rox, who's played a dazzling shortstop all year and is coming on offensively after struggling in April.

I am going to go with Ryan Braun 338-11-32 in just 160 at bats this year for the Brewers. To me he looks like the real deal and if he stays healthy he could finish somewhere around 325-25-80. He is a PAC 10 guy that played for Stanford and grew up in southern California. He is a real smart young guy (23 years old) and could have a great career.
