If an important password is introduced by clicking on a keyboard that appears on the screen and not by direct typing,would it make it safer and completely untraceable?

what i suggest is this... keep all you passwords codes etc, on a floppy disc then when you need to use a password etc... insert your floppy and copy/paste your password then you need never type it . also after doing that got to tools on the browser and click internet options and clear forms passwords history etc...hope this helps

Safer from a keylogger type threat yes. Completely untraceable - NO.

It makes it somewhat safer, but there is spy software that will record any activity on your screen. This makes the use of the on-screen keyboard potentially as dangerous as using the keyboard.

Nope.. It would be exactly the same.. If your talking about using Microsoft Onscreen keyboard (for example) in comparison to a standard keyboard.

No, the password is still being sent over the web and can be captured easily.
