What do you think is the worst cover version of a song EVER?

Obviously there is some confusion.
By Worst Cover Song, I meant what is the worst song that another band had covered, not just the worst song.
Songs like Jump done by Girls Aloud, or Jessica Simpson's murder of These Boots Are Made For Walking. Not just bad songs.

Without a doubt the worst cover I've heard has to be ..... Madonna - "American Pie".
I know its not a cover but her song "American Life" was also pretty tragic! "I drive a mini cooper and I'm feeling super-dooper!" My God!!
Jessica Simpsons fantastically bad version of "Angels"...what was Robbie thinking?? Apart from kerrching!
Best cover I've heard has to be Travis singing Britney Spears "Hit me baby one more time" it was done especially for a radio programme but they released it on an album so I recommend people check it out!

Worst covers could be many, but one of the worst plagiarized song would be The Buggles' Video Killed the Radio Star, stolen by an Indian music director Bappi Lahiri, way back in the 80's. The funniest thing was, when he sued an American band Truth Hurts' for using samples from a song he had "composed" in his career, in their song Addictive.

There's a cover of the Beatles' "Revolution" that was played on the muzak at work that was so BAD is defies belief. I mean whenever it got to the part of the track "you know it's gonna be.. allright" it went, sounding lewdly "you know it's gonna beeeeeahh... pause... allright." ewwwwwww! And the tinniness of the original was gone too.
That was cover was so bad it was sinful, lmao!
