No. I've thought this through and I say no.
I think the government is a group of many different kinds of people from the legislature down to the receptionist. I think the terrorists planned it all themselves, without our government's help. However, I think some people had intelligence about it and weren't sure what to do with it, so were wading through the bureaucracy when it was already too late for that. Some people knew about it and found it a credible threat and tried to do something the right way. Some knew about it and tried to evacuate as many people from the twin towers as possible without creating a panic and alerting everyone. This is evidence by there being far fewer people there than usual. Many people got up to go to work to find their tires flat or got a phone call not to go,etc. And some people knew about it and didn't believe it could be done. People are just people. I think sometime in the days before the attack Bush was so low in the polls and was such an ineffectual president he was in bad shape. When the attack happened, he had something to use to mend his broken presidency. It looks bad, especially to those who didn't want war. Opportunists have a bad rep. But he wasn't complacent. Just profited by it.

There is no way that terrorists plotted the attacks within the borders of the US and the US Intelligence had no idea about this. I'm sure the US authorities are not that slack at all.

I had once seen a documentary called Lets Roll 9/11.... The movie suggests that US officials are pretty much responsible in faking the entire incident..... The movie is very convincing as each claim has been backed by evidence. You should watch it. Its available on the internet too.

My take would be the same as this French minister's opinion. The US knew what was going to happen but rather decided not to stop it as it later gave absolute authority for the US to go to war with any country it opposed. Almost immediately after the incident, US sent a call all over the world.."Decide soon. You are either with us or against us!"... What an arm-twister!

Obviously I can be wrong....Any nation would balk at the thought of killing its own citizens after all....and there is not much concrete evidence...... The US authories didn't allow much private investigation into the matter...especially the Pentagon incident and the crash in Shanksville.

I hope this mystery is solved one day.

i understand the way you sense - i'm getting pissed off via it too yet that's what you get with a media information equipment that brainwashes like all of them do the international over. regrettably i do no longer think of we are going to get any actual solutions until cheney and bush have died my problem is that there are too many inconsistancies in the evidence. somewhat whilst the towers have been particularly designed to stand up to diverse jet stikes (in accordance to the architect) by using bomber that hit the empire state construction in the forties. there is likewise the very incontrovertible fact that the owner had insured the towers against terrorist assaults no longer long formerly. had they no longer been destroyed he might have had to tug them down quickly because of the fact of each and every of the asbestos interior them. somewhat of paying hundreds of thousands for that he became paid via the coverage two times(2 planes, 2 assaults). those and an incredible form of different information do no longer coach who became in contact or the way it became performed in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it will improve questions approximately why we weren't instructed this via our governments or in the mainstream media as for you angela - 7 a million/2 years isn't a protracted time in the past. it truly is an incident that has immediately affected the entire international. they nonetheless communicate approximately JFK 36 years on and an incredible form of others going returned even greater effective.

I believe Bush and company didn't take the threat of terrorism seriously before 9/11. Clinton has been blamed for being lax on terrorist threats so why didn't Bush be more vigilant when he took office? Now Bush sees terrorists behind every tree so that he can continue his reign of "error" in Iraq. The Twin Towers were attacked during Bush's Presidency because he was asleep at the wheel.

No.
I believe that there was information available. I believe more might could have been done.
I also believe that if we overkilled every threat out there that we could not even leave our houses.
I will never believe nothing was done so we could go to war.
Nor will I ever believe that it was an inside government job.

I will always believe that conspiracy theorist are some of the funniest and most asinine humans alive.

In a conspiracy theory it's incumbent upon those who're promoting the theory to provide evidence (the burden of proof is NOT on the rest of us). And when asked for evidence, all they come up with is "bush su>

No. I believe that the 9/11 attacks succeeded because of incompetence, stupidity and bumbling on the part of our government. There are many incompetents but that does not add up to a conspiracy.

You are right. It is crazy. US officials took immediate action. For one, they grounded all aircraft as soon as they figured out what was going on. This had never been done before in the history of our aviation.
Emergency operations started immediately after the planes hit.
