Why would it not be alright? I have been painting mine fore the last five years, with color. You are absolutely correct, it does look better no matter who wears it. Don't let other peoples insecurities dictate how you love and what you do. Don't let others try and convince you that all women don't like it on a guy because my wife is the one who got me started on it and I have had several woman give me great comments. Keep in mind there are men that think women should not wear nail polish either, but women do not let that stop them from polishing theirs. As far as other guys that start spouting about it being gay I only have one word for them, homophobe.

Its alright but what would work better at giving it a shine and healthy look is to go for a 'buffing' - i think i get the spelling wrong. But it gave your toes a natural shine. You could set the nail 'buffing' set from any phamacy or you could get it professionaly done.

Of course! If other people think there's a problem with it, then that's their messed-up perogative. I am so sick of this 'fear of being gay' that some people have. Honestly, can a man carry a satchel without being beat up? Christ. Well, I respect you if you go ahead and do it, because if it makes you look better in your opinion, then go ahead.

Sure, go for it.
If you got a pedicure at a salon, they would ask if you wanted a clear polish.

Oh sure! It's fine. My dad goes to the salon and gets pedicures. I think it's nice to see men taking care of their feet.

I did it once...felt a bit stupid...it is noticeable once you do it...don't let anyone (including yourself) tell you otherwise. There's nothing really 'wrong' with it, but alot of chicks here thought I was weird for doing it. Kinda dumb really..There's not really any need for a guy to pay that much attention to his toes..No one's looking anyway,...trust me dude. Attract attention to other parts of your body!

its quite an effeminate thing to do. but if your straight and confident in your sexuality, people will just see it as a cute quirk when you joke about it. but keeping it a secret or being defensive about it is just asking for teasing! i dont see why is would make any difference, unless they look shiny, and why would you want shiny nails?! lol. but then again it does protect your nails...yeah keep it up!
