My two questions are:

1. Given that the qualification is same, Being good looking is an added advantage in getting a job? Does it increase the probability of getting a job?

2. Given that the better looking one has lower qualification thet the not so good looking, Being good looking is an added advantage in getting a job? Does it increase the probability of getting a job?

yes/ no? Why?

Given equal qualifications, I would say the good looking person would often have an advantage because most employers do want good looking people representing their business. But do the good looks come with being conceited? Personality is going to play just as much of a role.

If the better looking person has lower qualifications then it should go to the more qualified candidate, but it also depends on the difference in qualifications. And in the interview process, the employer may realize the better looking person has more intangible qualifications like self confidence, an assertive personality, etc.

Remember that good looks are subjective. What looks good to one person may not look good to another. But I think human nature would tell you that a more attractive person is going to have an advantage in most situations that involve face to face contact. Perhaps it's not fair, but that's the way it is.

Yes. l'm basing my answer from studies done on that subject. Physical appearance is a big factor in hiring applicants. Good looks is more appealing especially with jobs that require attending to customers.
lt's a reality.
