they had the same kind of wild parties & fans etc, maybe not as drastic since studios did their best to keep bad news out of the papers, but this is how Charlie Chaplin ended up having to pay for child support for a child that was not even his ( the mother admitted)

Not nearly like it is today. People had respect for the privacy of others and weren't celebrity obseesed like they are now.
