There are so many good shows in Las Vegas, it is hard to decide if you only want to see one. Of course, it would depend on when you are going and the availability of tickets. Some of the shows do sell out, especially on the weekends as that is generally the busiest time. Also when there is a large convention or event in town, tickets to the :best shows" sometimes can be hard to find.

I have seen so many shows there so now I have to decide which ONE would be the very best.

I would say Celine Dion in A New Day at Caesar's Palace. It is a showcase of her music and quite good. She is scheduled to end this show in November and being replaced by Bette Midler. Elton John will take the stage there so that Bette gets some time off. It is also rumored that Cher will fill in for Bette. Those would be other great shows not to miss!

Ironically, Bette will be competing with her former piano player, Barry Manilow who also puts on a great show.

I hope this helps, it was hard to pick just a couple! I have seen so many of them and enjoyed most.

There are also lots of Cirque du Soleil shows there that are quite good and quite popular. They are "Love", "O", "Ka" "Mystere" and "Zumanity".

I would suggest you check out their website for details on the 5 shows they have at various hotels:

I would recommend making advanced reservations for these shows so that you know that you will see what you want. I know of far too many people that waited until the last minute when they arrived in Vegas and could not get seats.

Celine Dion was terrific. Since she wraps up her show this year, I would go there. Also, any of the Cirque de Soleil shows are an experience.
