Have you ever lied to a family member so they want come over your house due to the fact of them destroying your property. Example. You just purchased a new living room set, you know what type of family and friends you have and, they would'nt be happy at the fact that you have some new furniture for you crib. Just happens they stop by and they spilled something on your couch.

we have to lie every weekend or our house is trashed by friends with 4 kids. we lock the doors hide our cars,pull the shades---anything to make it look like we aren;t home.we dread week-ends! we have told them repeatedly to controll the kids,but they won't. they live in town in a tiny apartment and i know the kids like to get out and run and play,but why do they have to keep destroying things.we have many toy's i have got for them,but they would rather wreck the water lilies in my pond.other kids don;t do this.just this family.

Why lie? Tell them straight up they aren't wanted and why. then stick to it. Family has no more right to harm you or your property than anybody else does. And buy a copy of "Talking Dirty with the Queen of Clean," by Linda Cobb ($8.99 new in U.S., cheaper if you can find it in a used book store or amazon.com). Even if you get rid of these creeps, *#%@ happens, and this little book will come in handy through the years.

WHY LIE ? IF THEY ARE DESTRUCTIVE , DON'T LET THEM IN , AND TELL THEM FACE TO FACE. ONE CAN'T CHOOSE ONES FAMILY , BUT FRIENDS ? SORRY , BUT IF YOU LET PEOPLE WALK ALL OVER YOU , THEY WILL USE YOU AS A DOOR MAT.
