I thought I was already all-knowing at all Pokemon hidden games, secrets, and the likes. But, when I came up with this:

I want to know everything about this. Please no links, because I want personal experience about this unfounded phenomenon. I want to restore my pokemaniac glory.

Pokerus is a very rare virus that can be caught by Pokemon. If you heal your pokemon at a Pokemon Center, the nurse will inform you if your Pokemon is infected with this virus. A Pokemon infected with this virus can level up faster than usual, and its stats will rise high when it levels up (I assume the virus makes the Pokemon try harder than usual)

This virus is precious to those who know it. The bad news is: It will go away after a while, and the cured Pokemon will not get pokerus again.

To preserve Pokerus, store the infected Pokemon alone in one box. This is all I know. I'm sorry.

It might be boring and long, but listen. there is a 1 in over 20,000 chance a wild pokemno will have a status condition called pokerus. this disease doubles the EV's a pokemon gains. if you heal the pokemon at the ccenter a ot of times, it will go away. pokemon with pokerus will in fect the rest of your party too. the disease will stay on your pokemon for the time it is in a PC box. when it goes away, there will be a dot by the pokeball. after the pokemon gets pokerus and it cures, it will permanently gain double EV's, but it can't infect your arty pokemon. your pokemon cant get pokerus twice

If you get a pokemon with this, make it "infect" all of you important, or very low level pokemon.

It does the same thing as the macho brace (it makes all your pokemon gain double EVs)

Once a pokemon is infected, it will heal within 2 days, and become "immune" forever.

However, before it is "immune", it will be able to spread the virus to other pokemon in your party, if it's in your party too. Pokemon in your PC will not be infected, unless you withdraw them.

Once "immune" it will still gain doubled EVs, but, it will not be able to spread the "virus."

It's VERY rare, so if you get it, use it well.

Ps- The way I know to get it is through a battle with an infected pokemon.

Is true. pokerus exists on the games. Basically it is a virus that doubles the EV points you gain and the effects are permanent. What you linked is the whole thing to know about pokerus.
