My old computer came with a moniter and it had Windows Xp. The moniter was too dark but we found a thing in the settings that was gamma something and we could make the screen brighter. Well, our old computer broke so we got a new one just last week and it has vista. I can't seem to find the thing in the settings to help me make the screen brighter. Any ideas as to where it would be? or mabye another way to fix it. the moniter settings (with the buttons on the moniter) are turned up as bright as they could be.

If witht hte monitor brightness to full, it's till too dark, sound more like the monitor is failing.
If it's too dark on 2 diff PCs, it is certainly suspect. I'd say buy a new monitor before it dies completely.
