Why in general life do people think bigger is better. For example, "This restaurant is better because the serves are BIGGER" or "I wish my breasts were BIGGER" or "don't go see the Big Ben because the Big Apple is BIGGER!" or "Would you like to upgrade your small fries to a BIGGER size?"

Why is bigger....better?

Note: i used capitols for the word "bigger", because the bigger font looks better

Not really. Bigger is not always better and it's quality over quantity. Nothing dirty in this statement, just saying that it isn't always the case. Hummingbirds have the smallest eggs and look what comes out of them. ;)

It's all marketing and the old fashion sense of going one up on the person next to you. Plus people like a deal and if they are offered more then they feel like they got that deal...even if they won't eat the big fries.

Because bigger often is a sense of status as well as having a lot of something. The same thing applies for "The more the merrier"
