Yahoo does not run a monthly lottery, or any lottery. Don't you think they would advertise it somewhere quite publicly, or provide some information on their site if they were giving away millions of dollars?

This is a common scam/fraud either to get your personal inforamtion or to get money from you for 'taxes'. Report the email to Yahoo or delete it, just do not respond and don't send them any information.

I think you know that is a bogus e-mail. Never give out personal info to someone who sends you an e-mail.

Yahoo! does not have a lottery.

The email is from scammers just trying to separate you from your hard earned money.

It's fraud. Just delete it and move on. Please do not share any personal information with these people. Even though it's a popular scam, a lot of people fall for it.
