My doctor, and i believe most doctors, will tell you to abstain from sexual intercourse till 6 weeks after delivery. The first 6 weeks after delivery you are supposed to be extremely furtile. In any case they also suggest, at least they did with my wife, using condoms and foam for three to 4 months then it was ok to do as you want.

So the short answer to your question is try to wait at least 4 months after birth. That will put about a 15 months between babies.

doctors say don't have sex until 6 weeks after you have a baby.... but it is beat to wait as long as you can so your body can fully recover and heal..... and also its real hard having babies that close. i have a 6 year old, 2 year old , 9 month old and I'm 32 weeks pregnant. and its hard.... i had to potty train one and now i don't have one that is even walking and i will soon have a new born. so the best advice is to wait until your child is at least 2 or you will get no rest at all.

i think of your meant to attend a pair of months atleast. Plus, i do no longer think of she realizes how problematic it is going to be with a newborn, and being pregnant. being pregnant on my own takes each and every of the means out of a woman... in no way techniques being up all evening etc... plus your physique takes i think of like 3 months just to get returned to wide-spread from the 1st being pregnant, and that i pay attention its no longer risk-free to get pregnant before this. My acquaintances mom had her and then her brother 10 months later, and the physician needed her to abort it whilst he found out she became pregnant in basic terms a month after giving delivery because of the fact its no longer risk-free,... i think of she could refer to her physician first.

Give it a few months for your body to recover. It is best to consult your doctor, though, because your doctor knows what your body has gone through and we don't.
