1g ram 1.8ghz processor im pretty sure. not sure what my video card is, some crappy integrated w/e, im updating that soon. i just bought my pc from dell. i dont know why but it randomly spazzes out and everything just becomes a mess, my task bar will be at the top of the screen, its just hard to explain, think of windows 95 without control alt delete...its that bad, anyone else getting this issue, its really annoying because i have to log out with control alt delete and log back in, and it comes at the most incovienent times like when im watching a movie.

I have recently change my cpu for a 3.0ghz and 1g ram. I have ask my technician to put windows vista and he convince me not to do so. Windows vista requires 2g ram and a powerful grapghic card to function well. This windows usus enormously your ram memory and there will be no enough space left for doing other task. So do like me, put windows XP.

It might be Vista, but it might also be your hardware. I would get dell involved. You shouldn't have this kind of problem.
Make sure you save your files first. They might restore it to the original config, but doing so wipes off all your files, contacts, favorites, etc...

one question did you install ares or any other like that ....if so unistall it that happen to me once and i unistalled ares and everything went back to normal i also have vista
