My birthday is coming up and I was wondering If I should get a nintendo ds and Pokemon diamond. My parents said I could have one game so what are your guys opinions?

I also have a DS but I have Poke'mon Pearl. It's not the greatest game ever but it depends on your appeal. If you want a good starter DS game I suggest Lost Magic, Castlevania, or MArio Kart DS. They are all good games to play I know from experience. Now I'm not saying you shouldn't go buy poke'mon. It's a decent game with nice features including trading poke'mon from all over the world via WiFi. But the game gets very repitious and gives you a headache when you get near the end and don't hav high enough levels which is very likely to happen.
PS:Mario Kart and lost magic both also have wifi capabilities

Are you a Pokemon fan? If so, then Diamond is a great choice. It'll keep you busy for about a month or so, and the new additions are great. Then again, you might wanna consider grabbing Zelda Phantom Hourglass. I hear it's been getting great reviews, and the people who've bought it haven't been able to put down their DS's.
But whatever game you prefer is what you should get.

Yep, it's hecka good game, it's the best one I've ever played yet but, that's my opinion, if you don't like it, just sell it on the Internet or stuff, but I'm telling Diamond is better than Pearl because, well I just like how and what kind of Pokemon appear! That's my opinion, but still, the choice is... yours. Hanging up now...beep......beep......beep......
