Maybe she wants to fall in love with you again? If you have been married for a long time sometimes you forget that you were in love once and still need to be...not that you just love each other..you fall into that "same ole same old" routine. Did you ask her why?

Sounds pretty weird to me. Either you are married and live together as a married couple should, or get a legal separation or divorce. I know that this may sound mean, but I can't see how you can call eachother husband and wife and live in two seperate places.

Sometimes it's necessary. If it is what it takes to make your marriage work, just think of the check you'll get when you sell both houses and move into a single household again. ;)
It has it's benefits. Could really fire up your marriage. Chances are you'll end up at one or the other home all of the time and end up seeing how it was a necessary evil. In a year's time a decision will be made and if it does by chance end badly the homes are already divided so there will be one less mess to clean up.

Seems to me she wants a separation, then divorce. This is just her way of saying it without all of the hysterical arguments that will go on if she just comes out with it.
But truth is stranger than fiction, maybe she really means it. Only time will tell if you do go along with it.

Maybe she feels like you two have lost the spark between you.. She wants to go back to the good old days when you were so in love and couldn't wait to be together every moment.. Living apart sounds really expensive, but you should defenitely try to make time for some quality time together, just like you used to when you were dating. Remind her of what things were like back then and prove to her that you still love her, care for her and want to be with her for the rest of your lives.

And??????
Are you seeing others/ is she?
Or is it just a matter of needing space?
Sometimes after time people need a bit of space to regroup, maybe she just needs some time to get herself regrouped. Have you really talked about the idea or has it just been a fight? Have a long talk and find out what is really going on. It may be good for both of you and your relationship.

Hey, if you agree then go for it! She doesn't have to pick up your dirty undies and you don't have to deal with her toast crumbs.
It might keep the romance alive without dealing with the day to day living together issues.Just get the houses close to each other so neither of you are dating any one else!

I think that your wife has already moved on. She may not want to let go of you 100% and that may be why she wants to date. Move on and find a real woman that wants just you.

she wants her cake and to eat it too!!!! How do u feel about her sleeping with someone else? Because that's the only reason why she wants her own place. She gets to maintain the benefits of marriage the excitement of the single and dating lifestyle....be smart about this....if she's asking for this and u say no, she'll go off anyway....Ur better off to leave her before it gets ugly and complicated.
