This could be a stretch, but it's worth a try. I went to your 360 page and noticed you're friends with someone from Ohio, so I thought you might be as well. And if you are, then yes, it has gone up. It's now $6.85.

If you're from somewhere else, follow one of the sites some of these other people have listed. Just to clearify, there is a federal minimum wage, but each state then adds on to that! There is *not* one blanket minimum wage for the whole country like some of these answers are making it seem.

If you are in the US, federal minimum wage is currently $5.15 an hour, but will go to $5.85 in a couple weeks - you are still well above that. It will go to $6.85 on 7/24/2008.

Some states have higher minimums that that, so it depends on where you live and work. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_U.S._state_minimum_wages for a complete list for the US.

It relies upon on what form of job you get. minimum salary is strictly that nonetheless: the minimum criminal volume a company is had to pay an worker. meaning while you're working someplace, that company HAS to pay you a minimum of minimum salary otherwise they get into problem with the regulation. a company can not and could no longer pay an worker under minimum salary in keeping with age, race, gender, etc, for that count. good success on the job hunt.

Minimum wage in the US is currently $5.15 an hour. I'm going to bite my tongue hard before anything further finds it's way off my fingertips to my keyboard.
