honestly, i think they are the same as americans. just as proud of their heritage and just as nice. everytime i meet a foreign exchange student (and i've met quite a few... especially from germany) they seem just like me. although one thing is always different... they know way more languages then i do! i think that is the only "stereotype" i can say about europeans; i have this image that they are all multi-lingual. i swear, everytime i met someone from a european country they seem to know atleast three different languages... and usually fluently! i wish america put more of an impact on language as (it appears) europe does!
but unfortunately... there does seem to be somewhat of a hatred towards americans. thats the only other generalization that i can come up with. i myself have never met a rude or mean european but i have heard many times about how much they hate us, which saddens me. because we as a people are pretty nice. are governmant may not please all but the people are still interesting just like i know europe has very interesting people.
overall, i think we are very similar in personalities.

I have little admiration for old Europe at all. I was treated badly in France and Italy. Germans were at least polite and most actually liked me, especially former East Germans. England was the only country where everyone treated me like a fellow human being.
I have great admiration for the new Democracies in the former Soviet sphere. They treated me like a hero.
I believe it is because Old Europe is dominated by a Left, Communist and Socialist press which writes and broadcasts nothing but negative hate about America. So I don`t blame the people its just what they have been told. Because of old Europe's political Left correctness it is well on its way of being taken over by the Islamists and that will be very interesting to see how the old Europeans handle that when they come after them. Then I guess they will love us again and want us to bail them out, again. Heck there are places in France and Belgium that the French and Belgium's don`t even dare go into now let alone a tourist.
I never made it to Denmark, I won`t bother, I got enough Hate from old Europe to last a life time.
I would go to England again and Eastern Europe. Poland Lithuania and Bulgaria. Scotland and Ireland also I`m told treat Americans well.
Glad you asked

Most of us love Europe, the diversity, the culture, the languages, the food, etc. I am in college and I am doing a pre-med study abroad program where we travel to Copenhagan, Madrid, London, and Amsterdam.
The only problem with Europe is the discrimination Americans face when we travel there. I went to Italy and got treated like a terrorist, the waitor even spit in our water right in front of us! I wish people would just give us a chance.
But I can't wait to go to Denmark! When I think about the country I think of rich culture, beautiful people, and equality between the two sexes, which I love considering I am a feminist!

I like Europeans. They seem more down to earth than some Americans, and don't appear to put on airs. From what I've observed from TV, they appear more family-oriented and more neighborly. Americans use to be that way until materialism became their god and focus on money became more important.
I would like to visit England, France, and Norway. Denmark is a pretty country too!

When I think of Europe as a whole, the first thing that comes to mind is how the governments of many countries there seem more socialist than U.S.A. government.
Also, I think of the Euro, and what it might mean, in relation to end-time prophesy.
When I think of Denmark, I think of it's rich history, in particular how many Denmark citizens risked their own lives and the lives and welfare of their families to hide those who came to them fleeing the nazis.
I also think of Sandy Toksvig. She is hot, in a sick kind of way.
Be well.

I think that Europeans seem to be open minded, fun, and smart, and those are great qualities to have. I'd love to travel all over Europe someday.

No. i'm no longer likely to start calling myself a ecu Canadian as a results of fact I even have community ancestry too. If human beings have ancestors from distinctive continents, do they must pass during the entire checklist? this would get tedious. I desire "human beings".

Most Americans are very ignorant when it comes to the rest of the world (probably couldn't find Europe on a map!) I've been to Denmark (Roskilde Festival) and noticed that you Danes love to party. My impression is that you are fun-loving and uninhibited people.
