There is no beginning and there is no end. When a person dies, his soul goes from the body to another plane. The body is just like clothes that a soul wears. Death is just another phase for the soul. You are nothing but your soul in clothes - technically speaking

what is going to happen when I die? Is it the end of it all? In that case I guess I might as well entertain the feeling of eternity by believing in life after death, so that I can have the aim in this current life.

No, if you believe that Jesus is your Lord and Savior and have asked forgiveness of your sins, you will live on in Heaven for eternity. No one goes to the Father except through Jesus Christ.

yup it is...cuz ur the center of the universe...when you die...everything will come to an end from your perspective.
There's not such thing as soul...Im sorry. It sounds more logical to me as if we were all like electronic devices....if they cut the electricity or we ran out of batteries ...we just ...well lets say we sleep...until "someone" give us that energy(life) to make us wake up.
What's the purpose of a soul? to carry your memories and feelings and personality? isnt that in the brain?
