I speak of Bush in the past tense, because his shameless pardon of Libby indicates that he no longer wishes to accomplish anything in office.

So, looking back on the Bush II years, whatever happened to all those easily-led folks who once believed he was a great President?

Bush is a disgrace to America and has a hidden agenda which will murder many more people then he already has murdered.

Still love the man. Don't always agree with his decisions, but I believe he is doing the best he can with the cards he has been dealt. There is so much more on his plate compared to the Clinton years. (and many problems were brought on by the Clinton years) BTW - he did not PARDON Libby. Libby is still listed as a felon & must pay a fine. Only prison time was dismissed. Considering Bush does not abuse this authority (as Mr. Clinton did) I have no issue with it... Did anyone who is mad about Libby's commuted sentence get mad when Clinton gave his brother a full pardon? Just wondering......

By definition, great presidents would be few and far between. George has been fine, we've enjoyed decent economy, low inflation, low unemployment, and no attacks on the U.S. since he took the fight to the terrorists. It's been pretty well established Ronald Reagan was a great president, Jimmy Carter was the worst, not ever, but in the past, say, 30 years or so.

I hope the democrats would stop criticizing the republicans and just go back to their own lives. You guys are no prize either (Bill Clinton, enough said).
Besides, if I did say that I like George Bush (which I do) all of you will go off the handle and start cussing at me. Everybody who thinks George Bush is so malicious, and that he is the worst president ever then I think you need to look at it from the wide spread view. George Bush got the majority of votes from the citizens, he won, John Kerry lost. If you didn't like him the first 4 years why did you bring him back? Stop acting like it's the end of the world, and that you are the end all be all because you've got one more year of him.

Everybody who thinks that he is going to get impeached should give up on politics. He hasn't done anything criminal, and all of you liberal ****ers are just hating him because he "embarrassed the country". If I had a say in anything you guys are embarrassing the country.

I hope you enjoy the next republican president, Rudi Juliani.

Maybe I missed a news bulletin, but President Bush didn't pardon Mr. Libby, did he? Didn't he [merely] commute the prison portion of his sentence?

No, I don't believe he was a great president. I believe he is a great president. One of the greatest of our time.

Commuting the sentence of Libby does not alter the validity of Bush's presidency one iota. Attaching such importance upon such a minor occurrence indicates flawed thinking on the part of those who participant in bashing our Bush. Nothing more.

None of the easily-led folks ever believed he was a great president, I don't think. They wanted redemption for the previously-led Clinton years. They were so happy to finally have a republican in place that they didn't care how fcuking stupid he was.
Most of these ill-directed people have come around (as the polls indicate), but the die-hards will always think the way they do. They believe patriotism is most important, no matter a worthless cause.
We've got just over one year to wait for the war to end, gas prices to fall, and interest rates to get the real estate market kick-started.
It sounds like a long time, I know, but think about how long we've been where we are, with nothing getting better.
I would never advocate shooting W, but I certainly wouldn't mind seeing our troops return home for his funeral...he has made it evident that he has no compassion for their lives, and the worthless cause they are being forced to serve.
And, as for longshlongfan, maybe he should be reminded that President Clinton never killed anyone for his own personal agenda. The worst he ever did was hump an intern. Take a look at his wife, for cripes sake! She's damn near as ugly as W's wife, with her eyes pinned to the back of her head. I wish W would do as much wrong and just hump an intern. It might make up for his lost cocaine binge days if he were to get laid by something attractive. Who knows? Maybe he'd remember that Saddam is already dead, and there never were any WMD.

Someone said he has been a good president in a difficult time....Well, I say: The times would NOT be difficult if he hadn't made them so. Things were just fine when Clinton was Pres. Why do people feel we have to mess with a good thing?

Only the stupidest, most ignorant, delusional people in the world still believe that Bush is a great President. And most of them seem to be right here on YA.
