people all the time say wait till marriage and intend on it but what if i dont get married then what? become a nun?

You shouldn't wait till your married. You should however wait for the right person and the right time. Sex is a crucial part of an adult relationship. You need to connect with your partner sexually just as much as you do emotionally.

Well, quite frankly, there's nothing saying you can't die a virgin. Also, just because you never have sex doesn't mean you have to become a nun. There is more to life than sex, contrary to what society seems to think now! Plus, there is absolutely no sense in counting out marriage. I wouldn't say that a majority of marriages happen later in life, but there are plenty of examples!

Come on- what silly reasoning. You never know if you'll never be married until you are dead - there's always a chance. My hubby was 40 when he married me - he waited - he's happy - life is better than having blown it during his teens and young adult years - no regrets and a happy life - who would have guessed. He just focused on other more highly valuable and worthwhile efforts while single. Only our media and culture promotes this idea that one can have no self control like we're a bunch of animals with only one mission. Turn off the TV and take a cold shower for crying in the sink. Get a more productive and positive passion.

Becoming a nun is a choice that you decide on wholeheartedly and not to be a reason to become one just because.
It is not bad to still be a virgin even you don't get married.
There is a lot of people who are still not married and still a virgin but they continue to live out their lives as they want it to be.
If you are still young, just continue to live your life. Be happy.
Maybe, you might meet "the one" in the future.

Besides, society as a whole is placing WAY too much emphasis on sex. C'mon, is it really that important? more important than averting world famine, or finding a cure for cancer?

confident, i think of it is specific in case you wait. waiting for the specific one. in case you have intercourse in the previous marriage with a dozens of folk, isn't it comparable to being a prostitube? properly, the only distinction is that the guy will pay you funds.
