Go to the library or buy a book called the "The Gift of Fear" by Gavin de Becker. You need to read it and do what it says.

Getting a restraining order isn't always the best thing to do. If a person is irrational a court order will only make him respond to it irrationally. The best things to do is to get a new phone number, eventually he'll find it, so pay for the screening service that makes the person say something before you take the call. If he comes around, you may have to move. He is like finding an unexploded bomb in your backyard. Get good advice from a women's shelter on what to do and get the book, what he says is true. People who are nice about it end up in trouble. You have to say NO definitively and they have to make sure that you communicate NO contact CLEARLY, definitely with a firm tone and there are no conditions you would consider getting back togethor. You must also find a way of not talking to him under any circumstances even though there may be issues you have to resolve like the return of his property. A women's shelter will tell you how to get a third party to do it.

I know what I say seems extreme and perhaps over reacting, but read the book and then decide.

Run girl, run. Don't even think about getting back with him. I mean if he can fantasize about doing something like that then he is probably more than capable of doing it. He sounds like a really sick man who needs some help, I doubt his fantasy confessions is a cry for attention because he is missing you. I'm sure that you saw something in him before and that's why the two of you were together but this seems to me to be one of those times where you let the circumstances override whatever feelings that you may have had for him. Go ahead a be selfish, think of yourself on this one. Get a retraining order if you have to. Good luck.

Call the Police and alert them to this Lunatic. Heaven forbid that anything should happen to you, at least the Cops will know about this Creep.
Telling him to stay away is one thing, you need to get a Court Order telling this Ogre to keep his distance.
Fantasy of Death is Not a Good thing, especially when you have a starring Role.

Can you hear the warning bells? These are not good signs and if this guy keeps bugging you don't take it lightly. Talk to your friends and family if it's scaring you. Than if you want to just get a restraining order. Safety first and this guy definitely sounds creepy. Don't take a chance.

I think you should report him to the police for his death threats and get a restraining order. Don't talk to him anymore and stay far away from him. I had two friends that were married and he threatened to kill her and ended up shooting her in the face with a 357 and then he killed himself too. Don't take his death threats lightly. Believe it and protect yourself.

Get away from him as quickly as you can! Get a restraining order, and tell everyone of his fantasies about killing you. It's a sickness and you should not be anywhere near this person. Get help now!

Did he hurt you in the past? Get away from him. Relocate or file a restraining order. Talk to a lawyer. The sooner you will act on it the better. Better be paranoid than risk losing your life.

Tell him to get help... then go to your local police station and file a restraining order before we all read about you on the news....

I know some strange people, but none fantasize or even talk about killing another person....

Report it to the cops. That way if something really does happen they know that he did it.Tell your friends what he says because if he kills you then they know who to look at..

I watch a lot of court TV. So most of the women that got killed from thier lovers told someone so all they had to do was look for the lover.

I would have some form of restraining order on him....Seriously if he's talking it, he's thinking it...You should call the Police Dept or Sheriffs office and make sure they had been made aware of it....perhaps they can record your phone messages????
I wouldn't allow him a Million Miles near me if I were you...
