Theoretical yeild ??
Using the follwing information,calculate the theoretical yeild for the dehydration of 3.0 mL of cyclohexanol.

Substance --> molar mass(g/mol) --> d (g/mL)
cyclohexanol --> 100.16 ----> 0.948
cyclohexene----> 82.15----> 0.811

First you convert 3 mL of cyclohexane to moles.
3 mL * 0.948 g/mL / 100.2 g/mole = 0.028 moles
(appx).
Then you write your balanced equation.
C6H11OH -> C6H10+ H2O.
So 1 mole of the alkene is formed from one mole of the alcohol.

Now, we work backwards to find the mL (if that is what you want) of the cyclohexene.
0.028 moles * 82.15 g/mole / 0.811 g/mL = 2.8 ml (appx).

Assuming that cyclohexene is the product of the dehydration, this is just a simple proportion, and the result will be 3.0 x 82.15/100.16 x 0.948/0.811 ml.
