I am far from stalking, I want out of cali and she made the suggestion, we have been talking since 2000, and met on a poetry site, not a dating site

Yes. I moved over 2,000 miles to be with someone I met on www.lovepoems.net, 3 years ago. It wasn’t a decision anyone in my real life agreed with, many frowned upon just the thought of it, but it turned out to be the best decision I’ve ever made in my life. This is a situation a great deal of people don’t understand, perhaps it’s because they are too close minded and can’t begin to fathom the idea/possibility of two people being able to connect to one another on such a level, who have never met physically, or perhaps it’s one of those things you have to experience first hand, in order to understand/believe.

If going out there is what you want and feel is best, I say go for it. As cheesy, or rather as cliché as this may sound, following your heart is the best thing you can do. I wish you luck on whichever decision you make.

For the person who referred to it as seeming “stalkerish“, please educate yourself on the definition/meaning, because moving to another state to be closer with someone, who you care about immensely, who you’ve come to know, who you’ve grown close with….doesn’t by any means, classify you as a stalker.
